Erman Sac ve Demir was founded in 1972 in Maltepe as a family company. For more than half a century, we have been supplying traceable steel and cutting services to the machinery, defence, shipyard, construction, energy, automotive and rail systems sectors. Today, with the service we provide at our facility in Gebze, Kocaeli, we aim to be a trusted project partner rather than just a supplier to the key sectors of our industry, and to build long-lasting collaborations guided by our principles of quality and fast lead times.
Erman Sac ve Demir is a member of the Istanbul Mining and Metals Exporters' Associations (İMMİB) and the Turkish Steel Exporters' Association.
HISTORY
Founded in Maltepe with its partners, as the first company on Istanbul's Anatolian side to sell and cut steel plate.
The foundations of the family firm were laid with the name of our mother, Sündüs Erman, a woman entrepreneur ahead of her time.
Relocation to its new location in Pendik to improve the quality of service we provide to the growing shipyards and industry of the Tuzla region.
Erman Ticaret Limited established, bringing the family business under a formal company structure.
Facility opened in Gebze, at the centre of the region's industry.
Addition of a CNC oxy-fuel machine, expanding production capacity.
Relocation of the service centre to Gebze, one of the key centres of industry.
Expansion of the machine park with plasma cutting investments.
ISO 9001 and occupational safety work, moving our services to world standards.
Heat-number tracking introduced, making every part traceable.

QUALITY
Our quality management system is certified to ISO 9001:2015. Every heat is tracked, monitored in our digital stock system and delivered with the EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate and certificate of origin. Our technical team includes metallurgical and materials, mechanical and industrial engineers and a technical draughtsman; from material selection and cutting plans to quality control and dispatch, this team provides the technical and operational support your project needs.
