Cutting is the step that most directly affects both the cost and the assembly time of a project. Tight dimensional tolerances mean less rework on site and shorter welding and assembly times.
At Erman, cutting is performed on CNC oxygen and plasma tables. Oxygen is used for thick carbon steel, while plasma is preferred for thin to medium thicknesses including stainless and aluminium; we select the method according to material and thickness.
Speed comes from planning. We nest your DXF/DWG drawings to optimise the layout on the plate, reduce scrap and produce more parts from the same plate, shortening lead times.
On the quality side, every cut part stays traceable through the heat number of the plate it came from. EN 10204 3.1 inspection and the certificate of origin are delivered complete in the shipment file.
